Our Computational Image Analysis and Guidance Team is committed to developing innovations in image guidance that will afford clinical operators the opportunity to improve patient care through early diagnosis, precision biomarker utilization, interventional – pathological correlation, and novel treatment options.
We are specifically focused on (1) the translation of basic science to clinical trials involving stem cell biology, drug-delivery, ablative therapies, and medical device development; (2) the development of novel guidance modalities and procedure-related imaging systems; and (3) the validation of novel applications for advanced imaging guidance techniques discovered through multidisciplinary collaborative teams comprising basic scientists and clinical investigators from a variety of backgrounds, training experiences, and expertise. Our vision is that the clinical value of radiologic imaging in the future will transcend diagnosis to guide treatment of the disease.
