Emory EM Residency Pathways
In 2019, based on EM resident feedback, the Emergency Medicine Resident Pathways were established to help guide trainees in concentrated areas specific to Emergency Medicine. All Pathways are open to EM residents of all years and are led by Emergency Medicine Attendings with in-depth involvement by interested residents.
Upon completion of a Pathway, residents will be awarded a Certificate of Distinction from Emory Emergency Medicine Residency Program.

Emory School of Medicine Residency Tracks
The Emory University School of Medicine and Graduate Medical Education Office offer residents an opportunity to gain knowledge and skills in a focus area outside of their Emory residency program curriculum. Residents receive a Certificate of Distinction from the School of Medicine upon completion of the track.
The School of Medicine Residency Tracks range from 12 - 24 months and include:

- Health Equity, Advocacy & Policy (Dr. Shamie Das from Emory EM is one of the directors of this track)
- Medical Education
- Medical Innovation (Dr. Jeremy Ackerman from Emory EM is one of the directors of this track)
