Message from Dean Sukhatme: My mask protects you, and your mask protects me

Dear Colleagues: 
 
As the phased return to campus continues, I remind you of two key actions required of every member of the Emory community. These requirements apply to situations in all university buildings and health care facilities, and whether you’re working all day or simply stopping by your desk for a short time.

• Wear a mask or face covering when you are on campus. 
• Maintain at least 6 feet of distance (about 2 arms’ length) from other people at all times.

These two actions are critically important in helping to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and keeping our faculty, staff, trainees and students safe. Remember that the two actions should be practiced together whenever possible to maximize effectiveness.
