Course Overview
The School of Medicine is pleased to offer a career development course designed especially for clinical teachers. This course is brought to you by two Stanford-trained facilitators, Reena Hemrajani and Richard Pittman. The Stanford Faculty Development Clinical Teaching program is a validated, internationally recognized method of training for medical teachers to enhance their skills to be more effective in any medical educational setting.

Learning Objectives
- Enhance teacher versatility
- Provide educators with an opportunity to analyze teaching and foster collegial exchange
- Achieve outcomes of increased faculty confidence and effectiveness, the building of an educational community with a shared mental model and institutional change
- Engage multiple learning modalities including mini-lecture, video review, role play individual and institutional goal setting

Time Commitment
The course encompasses six sessions to be held from May 2 to June 13, 2023. Sessions will meet on Tuesday evenings from 5:30-7:30 PM and will include dinner. All of the sessions will be held in-person at the Grady Faculty Office Building. Faculty accepted into the program are expected to attend at least 5 of 6 sessions.

How to Apply
All interested candidates must submit an application form and CV. There is no limit to the number of applications from a department, but final selections will be made to ensure diverse representation across the School of Medicine and will be limited to 20 individuals. The highly interactive nature of this course necessitates a smaller group size with limited slots. Please apply early. The application form consists of three parts:
